For all of my time on Wikia, which nowadays is very small, spoilers for TV Shows or movies are prohibited unless those spoilers are kept away from people that hope to avoid them, or the spoilers are prohibited entirely. This wiki, as I remember, was no different. But in the last year, especially now with Skybound being leaked and irregularly coming out, spoilers are being thrown everywhere.
No, the argument of "Well, if you don't want to read spoilers, then why haven't you seen the episodes yet?" doesn't come into play here. It's ridiculous how Skybound hasn't aired in the United States yet, and by the time it does it will have been two months since the season started airing elsewhere in the world. The same thing happened with Tournament of Elements. This spoiler policy has been around for a long time, and I feel that it has largely been disregarded. Go on the Wiki Activity and check out the community messages on the right. At the bottom, you'll read, "Please note that episode pages are only made after the episode has aired on Cartoon Network." None of the episodes have officially aired yet in the United States on Cartoon Network. The sets are only coming out now and spoilers on the episodes have been all over this website over the last two months.
All I'm doing is voicing my displeasure with the way the staff, as well as many members of the community, have completely ignored the spoiler policy as if it was never in existence. Nothing can be done now, because Skybound has already aired in foreign countries and spoilers are, as I said, all over the place - but for the future of the series, this policy should certainly be enforced so as to keep Ninjago entertaining, instead of a show where everyone knows what's going to happen.
Opinions are more than welcome in the comments.
