“When this all began. Just the four of us. Hauling Master Wu to who knows where.”
Wu's horse carriage is a rickshaw used by Wu as a part of the ninja's training and team building.
History[]
Prior to the pilot episodes[]
At some point, Wu created or bought the rickshaw as a team-building aid for the ninja and for easy travel around Ninjago.
The Golden Weapon[]
Wu used the rickshaw to travel to Caves of Despair, allowing Zane, Kai, Jay, and Cole to push it.
Appearances[]
Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu[]
Pilot episodes[]
- 2. "The Golden Weapon"
Season 9: Hunted[]
- 89. "The Gilded Path" (indirectly mentioned)
Behind the scenes[]
- Although Wu calls it a horse carriage, it is actually a rickshaw, a similar vehicle, but not pulled by a horse but by a human.
- A possessed rickshaw which appears in 70734 Master Wu Dragon may be a reference to this rickshaw.
- A rickshaw also appears in 70629 Piranha Attack.
Trivia[]
- In "The Gilded Path," Jay indirectly references the rickshaw when the same four ninja are carrying Wu in a Destiny's Wing by a chain, saying "When this all began. Just the four of us. Hauling Master Wu to who knows where."
- Although Wu prefers traveling the old-fashioned way—on foot,[1] he had no problem being pulled by the ninja on the horse carriage. However, since he never used the carriage again, it was probably only part of the training for the ninja at the time.
