The Secret Ninja Force (also known as the Ninja) are a team of young warriors brought together by Master Wu to protect Ninjago from the forces of evil. Their base is aboard the Destiny's Bounty, or an old, perhaps abandoned warehouse located near a lonely dock.
History[]
The LEGO Ninjago Movie[]
The Secret Ninja Force fought Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army, using their vehicles in battle. After their battle, they return to their base and meet up with Master Wu. Master Wu then told them that they are not real Ninja if they only used mechs and machines. Wu then tells them about their elemental powers that which they can achieve as a Ninja, amazing the them.
Master Wu stepped aside with Lloyd on their Destiny’s Bounty base and told him about the Ultimate Weapon, and this ended up motivating him to allegedly steal it in anticipation that it would stop Garmadon somehow.
The Ninja got up the next day and before it was about to become another day when Garmadon surrendered, they then faced Meowthra, who defeated them (after Lloyd unleashed the Ultimate Weapon) and allowed Garmadon to rule Ninjago. The Ninja and Master Wu then went to go look for the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon to stop Meowthra. On their way, they battled Garmadon and lost Master Wu. With no other choice, they work with Garmadon in efforts to stop Meowthra and save Ninjago (with Garmadon in a bamboo cage).
The Ninja and the incarcerated Garmadon traveled through the jungle and they unfortunately came across Garmadon's old, fired generals. The ex-generals were insanely thirsty for revenge and after a quick fight with the tired Ninja, they took Garmadon and Lloyd captive, locking Lloyd in the bamboo cage with his father. The rest of the Ninja ran away in defeat and then began to feel guilty as they had ran instead of helping Lloyd.
The remaining Ninja proceed to prepare for another battle with the ex-generals, readying themselves with all they had. Cole painted himself with mud and ambushed the ex-generals as Nya hid under water and ambushed as well, and Jay created sparks with his scarf and electrocuted his opponents. They stole the ex-generals' burnt uniforms and wore them and then acted out as them by looking dazed, infuriated and zombie-like. They beat up many of the generals and a lot of them fell into the volcano they were about to send Lloyd and Garmadon into, but failed. The Ninja slightly celebrate before they are on the run again.
More ex-generals appear, and Garmadon finally teaches Lloyd how to catch. The Ninja build a large mobile vehicle that had the capability of flying, and some Ninja like Kai were going all out with bricks and spears at their attackers. They soon manage to escape the awful lair and speed off into the night sky.
When they reached the temple and found the weapon, Garmadon betrayed them and takes the weapon and locked them in the temple, and then return to Ninjago. As the temple collapsed and the Ninja panicked, Lloyd then tells them that they need to unlock their powers in order to escape, which they successfully do so. As they fall off a cliff, Master Wu return on the Destiny's Bounty and saved them from falling. Once they have been saved, they then return to Ninjago to stop Garmadon.
After arriving to Ninjago, they battled the Shark Army, using their powers to defeat them. When Garmadon was eaten by Meowthra, Lloyd stepped in and calmed Meowthra down. He had taken his mask off and surprised the enormous crowd deeply into whispered silence, and then talked to Garmadon, saying that he forgives him and apologizes. Garmadon cries fiery tears and a sliver of fire hits her mouth, which causes Meowthra to spit him out. After they saved the world, the team celebrates while Lloyd is hailed as a hero at last.

Trivia[]
- Unlike their TV show counterparts, these versions of the Ninja are high school students and keep their identities a secret from others.
- The Secret Ninja Force makes a great reference for the Power Rangers. They used to have vehicles similar to the Rangers' zords, has six members like some teams of rangers have, and has powers that used in battle much like the Rangers do.
- In the eighth season of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, the Ninja have different appearances based on their movie counterparts.
- The uniforms of the Ninja are much more personalized and distinct, rather than everyone's outfits subscribing to a similar theme and color-coding; Cole's outfit, for example, lacks sleeves to show off his muscles, Zane's outfit has a more technological vibe because he's a robot, and Nya's outfit features a samurai skirt and has a more warrior-like aesthetic.
