The Dragon Armor is a set of armor that was once worn by the First Spinjitzu Master before he left the Realm of Oni and Dragons. It was located in Firstbourne's nest until it was found by Iron Baron and Wu. The latter briefly wore it before his body returned to its normal age. It is comprised of the Dragon Chestplate, Dragon Helmet, Dragon Shield and Dragonbone Blade.
Master Wu wore the armor again, sans the Dragon Helmet and shield during the crystal infection.
History[]
The Dragon Armor was created by Firstbourne and the First Spinjitzu Master. Forged by the former's fiery breath and the latter's metals. the armor was worn by the First Spinjitzu Master as he and Firstbourne attempted to unify the Realm of Oni and Dragons. Unfortunately, however, the two races just continued fighting and the war raged on. Feeling torn on having to choose a side and devastated that he could not end the war, the First Spinjitzu Master took off the dragon armor and before he left his home-realm to start anew, proceeded to give it to Firstbourne so she could guard it in her nest. For thousands of years, the mother of dragons looked after the armor while hoping that her friend would return someday.
Lessons for a Master[]
Iron Baron takes possession of the armor and commands the Firstbourne to kill Wu. Wu tells Iron Baron that he had lied to him and that the armor was not what allowed the First Spinjitzu Master to control the Firstbourne. Rather it was the purity of his heart, something Iron Baron lacks. Wu then puts on the armor and holds the Dragonbone Blade, becoming the new Dragon Master. He rode on the Firstbourne on his way back to Ninjago.
Green Destiny[]
Wu continues to wear the armor as he and his students return to Ninjago. When reuniting with Lloyd and Nya, the two were amazed by the armor and at Wu having aged into a teenager.
Wu uses the armor and blade to fight against his brother, Garmadon, alongside Lloyd. However, Garmadon incapacitates Wu by blasting him off the edge of Borg Tower, leaving only the Dragonbone Blade for Lloyd to use. Wu wears the armor to assist Kai, Zane, Jay, Cole, and the Resistance to take down the Colossus.
Brave But Foolish[]
Wu equips the armor, excluding the Dragon Helmet, with a few enhancements made by P.I.X.A.L. to prepare for a fight against The Overlord. Garamadon states that the armor won't be enough to protect him from the power of The Overlord.
Wu arrives at the Crystal Island with the armor and Dragonbone Blade to fight against The Overlord. Wu is blasted off the Crystal Temple but is fortunately able to glide to safety.

Trivia[]
- The Dragonbone Blade is the only piece of the Dragon Armor to be in all of the sets that are in the Realm of Oni and Dragons and appears more than the other pieces of the armor in the season.
- Despite the rumors surrounding it, the Dragon Armor doesn't have special powers.
- It's unknown how the Dragon Armor could fit both Wu and First Spinjitzu Master seeing as the latter was likely a child when he wore it (based on the information revealed about him from "Master of the Sea"), yet the former was a teenager when he had obtained it.
- There is a posibility that the First Spinjitzu Master could have shapeshifted to fit into the Dragon Armor, however it would then not make sense as to why it'd be forged larger than his own body size.
- It is likely the armor can shift its own size to fit the wearer.
- While Wu was seen wearing only the breastplate in Crystalized, what became of the helmet is unknown. It's possible that Wu doesn't need it anymore.
- This is the first item to have been thought to have some sort of power, only to be revealed to be mundane, the second being the Blades of Deliverance.
